Rihanna Assault Leads To Denial Of UK Visa For Chris
CaribWorldNews, LONDON, England, Weds. June 9, 2010: Seems the fall-out from R&B singer, Chris Brown`s infamous assault of Barbadian-born singer Rihanna, is still following him.
Reports indicate that Brown was this week forced to cancel his London tour after he was refused entry to the UK due to his assault conviction against sexy Grammy-winning star, Rihanna.
The singer was due to kick off his tour in Glasgow on Wednesday night followed by gigs in Birmingham, Manchester and London on Thursday, Friday and Sunday respectively, but was denied a visa to enter the country.
The BBC reported that Brown posted messages on his Twitter feed apologizing to his supporters, saying: `SORRY to all the fans in Europe! My tour is cancelled ... I`m pretty sure y`all know. My entry was denied in your country. I love you. SORRY!!` But the messages were later scrubbed from his Twitter page.
The 21-year-old US star was sentenced in August 2009 to six months of community labor, five years probation and attend domestic abuse counseling for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna last February.
